My project will pair high school volunteers and teens with special needs, and together they will create and perform an original play in their community.
All my life I have been passionate about three things: music, sports, and social action. I play the piano and I sing, along with snowboarding, playing volleyball, basketball and soccer. Every Sunday, I work with the special needs community in my area, and seeing the looks on the participants' faces brings me the most joy. I am also a part of a slots no deposit teen grant-giving group and we do our own fundraising, allocating the funds to organizations we are passionate about. In the future, I see myself doing something in the field of social action. Learn more about my HERlead Project.

Proyecto Educación will bring high school students to Guatemala for four weeks to teach math and English to low-income youth. My project aims to promote the value of education as a stepping stone for a successful future to the youth in El Triunfo.
Even as a kid, I thought I knew what justice was. However, my belief was shaken when I traveled to rural Guatemala to teach English for four weeks. Inspired, yet challenged by these injustices, my passion for empowering the poor and marginalized grew immensely. As I continue to mature, I hope to critically assess, develop, and expand my goals of becoming an effective and compassionate lawyer, diplomat, and advocate.
