I am a junior at Florence High School in Florence, Alabama. Tutoring elementary school students has taught me the power of quality education and the importance of empowering girls through education. Some of my hobbies include piano and basketball.
My HERlead Project: Each One Teach One
I will be expanding my 2015 HERlead Project, which targets summer learning loss, particularly for students from low-income families who are less likely to have access to summer learning opportunities.
