I am a Hispanic American from Centreville, Virginia. I am currently a sophomore at Westfield High School, where I run track, volunteer with the Key Club and serve as my class treasurer. I am very passionate about reading, volunteering and traveling. A fun fact about me is that I hold a first-degree black belt in Taekwondo.
My HERlead Project: COLLEGE CONNECT
My HERlead Project addresses inequality and underrepresentation in higher education and the workforce through a leadership and mentoring program, College Connect. It will provide first generation, low income and minority students with assistance regarding the college application process and overall leadership development.
