I am a 16-year-old who is originally from Potomac, Maryland. I am a rising senior. I have lived overseas for seven years of my life in Almaty, Kazakhstan and Cairo, Egypt. I am very interested in psychology and human behavior, and plan to study it in college. I have a great appreciation and passion for the arts. Since a big part of my childhood has been spent away from the U.S., I have had the privilege of having many multicultural experiences. They have influenced me to be open minded and also informed about existing issues and problems in the world. Through my unique upbringing, I understand the importance of being a global and communal citizen.
