I am a junior from Mohegan Lake, New York. I am a strong advocate for bridging the gender gap in technology. As a STEAM aficionado, my goal is to use STEM and the arts to inspire young girls to become the leaders of tomorrow.
My HERlead Project: STEAM-A-THON
I will address the gender gap in STEM fields with my HERlead Project by offering a STEAM-A-THON through ThinkSTEAM for 60 to 75 middle school aged girls in order to expose them to STEM concepts and how they can be applied to different fields.
