I am currently a sophomore at Duke University studying mathematics and education, originally from Monticello, Arkansas. Making sure that students are able to benefit from and enjoy their education is my passion, and I look forward to one day become a mathematics educator to help change this firsthand. Until then, I have allowed this passion to fuel my project, which provides hygiene items and school supplies to students from low-income families in my community.
My HERlead Project: PACKS OF HOPE
My HERlead Project will improve and expand services that deliver basic school supplies and hygiene items to schools in my district with the mission of supporting low-income students.
