Kynnedy

Kynnedy is a junior at Hawken School in Gates Mills, Ohio. She is an advocate of the arts, a Steminist, and passionate about matters of diversity and inclusion. She is a founding member of her school’s Black Student Union and the Diversity Council, an intern in her school’s tech center, a third-year member of the volleyball team, and the concertmaster for her school’s orchestra. As a classically trained violinist, Kynnedy has been studying the violin for nine years and has performed on both national and international stages. Kynnedy founded a non-profit called, I Art Cleveland, after seeing the disparities in the demographic of youth who have access to arts programming and funding in her city. Kynnedy is also the founder of Chat(Her), an online youth leadership speaker’s series designed to engage, connect, empower, and build a sisterhood of global leaders. Kynnedy hopes to double major in computer science and music, and eventually own her own software company and become a notable violinist.
