Mary Kate
I am currently attending Loyola University in New Orleans, but my home is the small town of Watson, Louisiana. I enjoy queso blanco, Harry Potter and attending my little brother’s sporting events. Through my project, Cancer Couture, I hope to shine a light on the social consequences of cancer, in addition to elevating confidence in teens with life-threatening diseases.
My HERlead Project: Cancer Couture
My project will expand my 2014 HERlead Project, Cancer Couture, by continuing to raise awareness for childhood and teenage cancer, and provide emotional support, funding and hat donations to young cancer patients.
