I am a sophomore and a proud Texan, born and raised in Brownsville, just north of the U.S.-Mexico border. As a chess player, new debater and student at a medical high school, I am passionate about learning new things. In my free time, I love to read and bake things with way too many calories!
My HERlead Project: PAWNS AND QUEENS
My HERlead Project will increase the number of girls interested in STEM and chess by creating a series of chess and STEM clinics where girls can learn how to play chess, learn to code and meet other girls who share their passions.
