In my hometown of San Antonio, Texas I am involved in Model UN and serve as a class officer. I’m a dedicated art student, passionate about sharing the benefits of art with others. I would like to use my love of art to raise awareness about similarities we may have, rather than focus on our differences.
My HERlead Project: Artful Start
I will be expanding my 2015 HERlead Project, which enriches the lives of children with special needs through community art programs, while also working to educate high school volunteers about the harmful stigma surrounding disabilities.
