I am a junior from Edmond, OK. I am passionate about challenging myself, volunteer work, activism, meditation, sports, digital photography and the color blue. I am a lover of people and a strong believer in people’s ability to create change in their own lives, the community, and the world (along with the role of education in helping them do so). Through co-founding the Adopt a Grandparent program and a school community group called HH Chat Room, my goal is to increase dialogue among different groups of people to promote greater understanding and unity in our world.
My HERlead Project: ADOPT A GRANDPARENT
My HERlead Project will arrange regular visits to nursing homes by young, energetic students to combat social isolation and promote mutual learning across generations.
