I am a junior from Los Angeles, CA. I am extremely passionate about science, women’s rights and special needs advocacy. As an aspiring social worker and health care professional, I work devotedly towards enhancing the living conditions of people with disabilities and providing them with opportunities to succeed. Also, I have a passion for bridging the gap between women and men in STEM-related fields. I hope that one day women everywhere will be empowered to confidently pursue all of their interests.
My HERlead Project: JUST LIKE ME
In my HERlead Project, I will provide individuals with disabilities the opportunities, resources, support and encouragement they need to attend college, obtain employment and explore their personal interests.
