Annie
I am a junior from Millbrae, California and I am really passionate about politics, women’s rights and education. As an aspiring Secretary of State, I am involved in political advocacy, the Girl Up Campaign, Campaign for the Presidential Youth Council as a district director, America’s Miss California Jr. Teen and the San Mateo County Youth Commission where I am on the executive board. I am also the founder of BridgED, a project that promotes tertiary education by connecting high-quality college counselors to low-income students in the Bay Area.
My HERlead Project: BRIDGE-ED
In my HERlead Project, I will promote access to higher education for low-income students by advocating for equity in the college admission process, offering counseling and providing professional workshops.
