I am a sophomore from Seattle, WA. I have fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest throughout my life. I love to explore the Seattle area when I’m not programming, teaching girls to code at my local elementary school, debating world issues or making a nice cup of hot cocoa. I am incredibly passionate about diversity in the STEM fields and public speaking, a combination that has opened my eyes to many new opportunities, people and ideas.

I will address the disparities in the accessibility and inclusivity of STEM education in my HERlead Project with the goal of educating, encouraging and empowering underrepresented minorities in STEM.
