Charlotte
I am a sophomore at Middlebury College in Vermont, and I am passionate about empowering people to speak out through art. Before starting college, I took a semester off to create ARTICULATE. I combine my passions for art, global awareness and public speaking to create an integrated and accessible curriculum that thoughtfully introduces students to a large range of important issues. I also run my own art business, Charred Latte Art, where I focus on promoting empathy through art.
My HERlead Project: ARTICULATE
My project will expand upon my 2013 and 2014 HERlead Projects, ARTICULATE, which works with high school and college students to use visual art as a tool for social change in their communities.
