Cydney
My name is Cydney and I am a 17-year-old senior. At my school, I am a member of Med Club and Young Democrats, in which I am Vice President. I am also the Co-Vice President of the National Honor Society chapter at my school. In the fall, I play varsity field hockey and run varsity track in the spring. I also play the violin in my school’s Symphonic Orchestra. Besides playing the violin, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family and traveling. Community service is very important to me.
My HERlead Project: There's No Cost For Serving: Everyone Can Be A Leader
My project connects young girls from diverse backgrounds who share a desire to better their community and themselves. I will host workshops designed to strengthen a girl’s commitment to learning, establish positive values, build competencies for social and business interactions and build positive self-identity.
