I am a people person; I love connecting with people in my school and community. I am my school’s student body president and am involved in Student Council. I am the secretary of both my school’s ASTRA Club (the high school chapter of Altrusa International) and National Honor Society chapter. I play volleyball year-round and spend my free time biking with my dad and enjoying the beautiful outdoors of Colorado. I aim to connect student councils in my area to their communities and to each other, as well as increase my school’s involvement in community service.
My HERlead Project: Youth Empowerment through Community Service
I organize students at my high school to make a positive impact through year-long community service projects. My high school will then connect with six other high schools in the region to plan and implement a large-scale community service project.
