Hana

Hana is a junior at Noor Ul-Iman School from Yardley, Pennsylvania. As an aspiring computer scientist, Hana is passionate about the intersection of technology and social good. Her goal is to bridge the gap between the Deaf community and the hearing world through smarter technology. Ultimately, she aims to make STEM education more accessible to underrepresented communities, such as women of color. In her free time, Hana enjoys teaching children American Sign Language and robotics. Currently, she serves as Editor in Chief of her school’s literary magazine and is heavily involved with the Youth Women’s March and U.S. Youth Climate Strike, providing her with the platform to​ ​advocate equal and sustainable policies. Hana is most excited to connect with like-minded individuals at the HERlead forum.
