Katie
I am a rising high school junior in New Jersey where I play the trombone in many school band ensembles, including marching band and pit orchestra for the school musicals. I also love playing soccer and basketball as well as watching baseball with my family. I am also very involved in the youth group at my church. As an Ambassador Girl Scout, I look forward to completing my Gold Award project. In my free time, I love to listen to music, especially ’60s classics like The Beatles and Bob Dylan.

My project uses freerice.com, a website sponsored by the United Nations World Food Programme, to teach kids about world hunger and provide a concrete way to help.
