I am interested in the outdoors and people, specifically kids. I am inspired by the idea that I live my life in a way that I can be proud of what I achieved and the person I am. I was born in Kailua, Hawaii where I lived until I was ten. Now I am a junior at East Chapel Hill High in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where I am part of the Social Justice Academy. I also swim and work at the farmers market.
My HERlead Project: Community Refugee Outreach Start Up
My project will launch a tutoring and mentoring program between high school students who are native English speakers with students in my hometown to foster lasting friendships across cultures.
