I am a sophomore at Little Rock Central High School in Arkansas. I have danced competitively for ten years and participated in policy debate for two years. I love to read, write and spend time with my friends. I am extremely passionate about politics and am determined to foster this same interest in young girls in my community.
My HERlead Project: Debate Like a Girl
My project aims to reduce the gender gap in high school debate teams by holding a series of after-school workshops for middle school girls in Little Rock, giving them the tools to debate and compete early on.
