I am a junior from Oviedo, FL. I’m a metaphor enthusiast, history junkie and proud Floridian. I founded the nonprofit Artsy Hearts to support education in rural India through the arts. I strongly believe in female empowerment, Frida Kahlo paintings and public libraries. The rest is up for debate.
My HERlead Project: THE HOMGIRL PROJECT
In my HERlead Project, I will increase the positive representation of women in color in the media through an international media platform that integrates a news-style website with social media techniques, sharing women’s stories in order to empower future generations to embrace their potential as leaders.
