I am a junior from Charlottesville, Virginia. I am fascinated by the endless possibilities of technology, and the ways that it can be incorporated into health care to reduce pain and suffering. I currently have a patent pending on a device that can reduce amputations and deaths for people with diabetes. My passions are finding ways to get women more involved in STEM, scuba diving and swing dancing.
My HERlead Project: HER IDEAS IN2 ACTION
In my HERlead Project, I will encourage high school and middle school aged women in my community to pursue computer science careers through mentorship and resource programs.
