Roann
I am a sophomore at Greenville Technical Charter High School in Greenville, South Carolina. I founded an organization called Youth Interfaith, which promotes inter-religious understanding and cooperation among high school and college students through bi-monthly dialogue events and community service projects. I am also passionate about giving youth a voice, which is why I am an active member of my school’s speech and debate team.
My HERlead Project: YOUTH INTERFAITH
My HERlead Project will allow me to further my work in promoting cultural understanding and inter-religious dialogue by establishing chapters of Youth Interfaith across South Carolina and around the United States, in order to combat religious discrimination and educate young people about different faiths.
