I am a high school junior in Midlothian, Virginia. I am very passionate about the power of performance and teaching young children in my area about how the performing arts can be a vehicle for inspiring confidence, compassion and a love of country. I’ve been a performer all my life and currently serve as a captain to my show choir and dance team, study in the Radio City Rockettes Intensive program and perform in community musicals. I also provide individually tailored musical outreach shows to nursing homes, veterans and students with the help of my siblings.
My HERlead Project: S*H*O*W (Stage Housed On Wheels)
I am constructing a S*H*O*W (Stage Housed On Wheels) for at-risk youth participating in drama classes at the Neighborhood Resource Center in Richmond, Virginia. The S*H*O*W piece will be a mobile tool to develop creativity through theater.
