Sydney
My name is Sydney and I am a high school senior. I enjoy being an active participant in my school and local community. At school I am involved in Student Council, the policy debate team, concert band, the Pet Advocacy Leaders program and The Metro Review, our school’s literary magazine. Outside of school I enjoy volunteering on various political campaigns, in local day care centers and in animal shelters in the area. Giving back to the community has always been a great passion of mine, which I hope to foster for years to come.
My HERlead Project: The Metro Review
Create and sell The Metro Review, a literary magazine whose profits will be used to buy books for underprivileged children. My project aims to increase literacy in St. Louis while also providing a platform for writers to use their voice to effect social change.
